About Penclawdd

 

Penclawdd is situated on the North coast of the

Gower Peninsula near the Loughor Estuary.

 

 

 

Penclawdd is best known for its cockle picking which has

been a source of income for villagers for many years.

 

 

Karl Jenkins, the world acclaimed composer, was

also born and educated in Penclawdd.
